March 20  Texas Fallen Heroes Memorial Cookoff  Hitchcock TX  Come join us
for a day of fun and festivities as we ride to remember our Texas fallen heroes and
their families and raise funds for the Texas LODD Task Force.   We will kick the
day off with a pancake breakfast at the Cy-Fair VFD Station 11 in Cypress, TX.
Afterwards a memorial and wreath laying ceremony will honor our fallen
firefighters and EMS providers. From there the motorcycle ride will begin with
kickstands up at 11am. The ride will go through scenic routes in Harris, Fort Bend,
Brazoria, and Galveston Counties.

March 20, 2010 March Wings & Wheels – Cessna Day – Let’s Go Flying Day
10:00 am to 5:00 pm  From the most popular and prolific training airplanes in the
world, the Cessna 152 & Cessna 172, to cabin-class twins like the Cessna 421,
and even to the fastest civilian jet in the world, the Cessna Citation X, the company
that Clyde Cessna started has always and continues to make great airplanes.  
We would like to welcome any and all Cessnas, from early 120’s, 140’s, and 195’
s to modern 350’s, 400’s, and Citation jets to our ramp on this day! Also on this
day, come meet representatives from several local flight schools and take the first
steps toward realizing your dream of becoming a pilot!

March 23, 8:00 pm  Arlo Guthrie – The Guthrie Family Rides Again  Back by
popular demand - the Guthrie Family Rides Again. The 2010 tour officially
introduces the fourth generation of Guthries to the stage. Together, this legendary
family has traveled the world using moving folk music to spread a message of
peace. The evening includes a selection of recently rediscovered Woody Guthrie
lyrics put to music by friends and family. Four generations of voices are together in

performance   Watch dance of all styles and eras explode onto stage to engage,
entertain and enlighten students of all ages. Swing in to the 30s, tap to "Singin' in
the Rain," Hand Jive through the 50s and Electric Slide into today! Students
participate in an energy filled hour of dance, music, costumes and learn fun
historical tidbits of information on fashion, games, and toys.  Presented by

the Prairie  Voice of the Prairie presents Laura Ingalls Wilder's experiences on the

Outdoor theater  The world famous Harlem Gospel Choir is one of the preeminent
gospel choirs in the world. The Choir is a gathering of the finest singers and
musicians from various Black Churches in Harlem, and travels the globe sharing
its joy of faith through music, and whenever possible, raising funds for children's
charities. The theme of every performance is bringing people and nations together
and giving something back. Their songs of inspiration touch the depths of the soul
and raise spirits to angelic heights. They will literally have you dancing on the

March 27  Raffle Plane to Attend the Houston Airport Appreciation Day!  12:00
pm to 4:00 pm
The Houston Airport Appreciation Day is an event that welcomes the public out to
Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport (KIAH) for a day of family fun.  Come see
static aircraft displays, listen to live music, and see what the airport has to offer!  
The Raffle Plane will be on-hand so you can take a look and purchase your ticket
to win her!  We hope to see you there!

March 27 & 28, 2010  Paws In The Park   Come Join us for the weekend - no pet
required!
We will kick things off on Saturday morning with the HEB Plus! Pet and Owner Fun
Run followed by the national “Dock Diving” competition presented by Meadowlake
Pet Resort.   
In addition to the Dock Diving competition, Paws in the Parks will host teams from
across the nation competing in the US Dog Disc Nationals and Lure Coursing.   
There are several demonstrations planned throughout the weekend including
Flyball, Agility, Hunting Poodles, Obedience, andGrooming. Vendors are also on
hand selling pet novelty items, giveaways and discounts.   10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
