1 15 oz can of chickpeas, well rinsed
1/4 cup tahini
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
2 garlic cloves, minced or pressed ( to taste)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice, fresh-squeezed (to taste)

Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly. Blend all of the
above ingredients in a food processor or blender until very
smooth.

We like to spread this on fresh bread and add some
tomatoes, cheese and turkey and have a delicious and
nutricious sandwiich or just use as a dip for carrots and
cherry tomatoes.
