A parade honoring the Pearland Little League All Stars is set for Saturday, September 11, starting at 10 a.m. at the corner of FM518 (Broadway) and Pearland Parkway.
The team recently won the Southwest Little League Regional championship, and went on to play in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The team earned the distinction of making it all the way to the United States Championship game, claiming the rights to "one of the top four (4) teams in the world".
The parade route will travel east on Broadway, turn south onto Liberty Drive, ending in front of Pearland City Hall, where Pearland Mayor Tom Reid and members of the City Council will honor the team and acknowledge their accomplishments.
