pessimistic.

A parade honoring the Pearland Little League All
Stars is set for Saturday, September 11, starting at
10 a.m. at the corner of FM518 (Broadway) and
Pearland Parkway.

The team recently won the Southwest Little
League Regional championship, and went on to
play in the Little League World Series in
Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The team earned the
distinction of making it all the way to the United
States Championship game, claiming the rights
to "one of the top four (4) teams in the world".

The parade route will travel east on Broadway,
turn south onto Liberty Drive, ending in front of
Pearland City Hall, where Pearland Mayor Tom
Reid and members of the City Council will honor
the team and acknowledge their
accomplishments.
